After you register, send your deposit to Gilderintl@aol.com. When we have received payment we will send you an email to confirm your booking .A reservation fee of 50% is required upon booking, plus 5% for the paypal fee. The day after your arrival our manager will stop by the property at approx 10 am to check on you, answer any questions and pick up the rest of your rental fee.
What happens if I have to cancel?
If you have to cancel your stay with us please give 2 weeks notice in order to receive your deposit back in full minus the 5% paypal fee. If you cancel within 2 weeks prior to your check in date, we charge 25% of your full rental fee and will send you the difference minus the 5% paypal fee.
What is the house policy on Tipping?
All of my staff are single women with families and children in school, of course they appreciate tipping. The ladies are so diligent in their efforts to make your stay a happy one, and I believe you will be more than happy with their service.
What happens if I have a problem?
Please tell us any issues you may have immediately. Our staff will try to resolve any problems as quickly as possible. We have been catering to our renters for a long time and pride ourselves on our very strong repeat clientele and making new people feel very much at home. We understand that Mexico is a new culture for a lot of people and can take some time acclimating. Our staff have been with us for a long time and I have the greatest respect for their ability to make all types of people comfortable and happy.
Something extra to note:
We decided when we first started with our business that we would help
educate the children of our staff. Especially the girls who tend to finish school early, we help give them an
opportunity to move up the social and wage scale in Mexico. One of the girls is currently a straight A student in her
3rd year at the University in Oaxacca studying special education. If you want to do something small and important, spend
$20 and bring pencils, magic markers, erasers, crayons and/or small toys to donate to the local orphanage. Our manager
Maria donates a lot of time and money there and anything is welcome and greatly appreciated. Give items to her and she
will happily take and donate on your behalf.
